Pearl Group continues to expand its staff throughout the company, and recently the office in Latvia has welcomed eight new employees.

Ihor Hlubochenko
Ihor is hired to build and lead Pearl's newly established UI and front-end team, which will be based in Latvia. He has more than 15 years of experience in IT companies, including SAP and Accenture, and was responsible for building SAP's customer portal from scratch in Angular. Ihor is thus a perfect match for Pearl's new team, aiming to meet the customers' ever-increasing demands for front-end solutions.

Dmitrijs Veliks
Dimitrijs is a new SAP senior consultant at Pearl Latvia. He has more than eight years of experience in IT and business consulting in multiple SAP areas and is a certified SAP Finance Professional. Among other things, he was responsible for preparing strategy, roadmap, design, business process blueprints, system landscape, and solution implementation for SAP Financial Accounting.

Valters Knipšis
Valters has joined as an SAP Commerce Consultant and comes from a back-end developer position in a company that provided portfolio management. He has experience with, among others, Node JS, Vue, and WebSocket.
"I wanted to work in the Pearl Group because it received warm recommendations from a former classmate, who has worked here for three years. It is also a big plus that they are an SAP partner. I am happy to work here – so far, the work is challenging but rewarding."
Vitālijs Čistovskis
Vitālijs is also a new SAP Commerce consultant and was, until recently, the Head of Information Systems Unit in the Riga Technical University. He worked mainly with Java, supporting the university portal and developing Android applications.

Oļegs Bugrovs
Oļegs is employed as a junior consultant on the SAP Commerce team. He has experience as a freelance developer and as a full-stack developer in a small start-up company. Impressively, Oļegs has no higher education in coding – after having learned programming in primary school, he continued to learn on his own. According to him, he simply can't live without constantly learning new things.

Alise Alka
The second newly hired junior consultant on the SAP Commerce team is Alise. She is a software developer and has also started as an SAP Commerce junior consultant in Pearl Latvia. It hasn't been more than two and a half years since she became interested in programming, but this is already her second job as a software developer. She is currently immersing herself in Java and Spring and also developing her skills in web and mobile app development.

In addition, I wanted to continue with coding and also learn more about the business side, and with SAP Commerce, I get both. I am very proud that Pearl Group hired me."
Amirali Količevs
Amirali – or Amir, as he calls himself – is the third new junior consultant to the SAP Commerce team. He is also a software developer, with Java as his primary language. For Amir, the best thing about programming is creating systems that can automate processes and improve and simplify people's work.
"Coding makes me a better problem solver, but it also teaches me patience, perseverance, and discipline. I am very happy that I got to join Pearl, and I am sure that it will help me continue to develop and grow professionally."
Dmitrijs Ļeonovs
Dmitrijs is the fourth new SAP Commerce Junior Consultant and the most recent addition to Pearl Latvia. He has two and a half years of experience in the IT industry and has worked on several major SAP projects, both as a technical SAP consultant in Clarity and as a junior SAP consultant for Accenture.
