Motek continues solid partnership with PearlCare
Motek, part of the Aspelin Ramm group, has been a key player in Norway’s construction and industrial sector since 1954. With 30 stores, over 340 employees, and Norway’s greenest logistics building, Motek is known for innovation, adaptability, and sustainable growth.

Motek and Pearl have collaborated closely on everything from ERP to online shopping since 2013, and the partnership is now being developed further through the PearlCare concept. With the new PearlCare Platinum agreement, Pearl manages operations, infrastructure, and ongoing ERP and logistics development, ensuring predictability, stability, and continuous innovation.
Built on more than a decade of collaboration, the partnership is founded on trust, dialogue, and a shared goal: securing Motek’s success in a competitive market.
Increases predictability and ensures critical operational tasks
Motek and Pearl have worked together for more than a decade on ERP, e-commerce, warehouse, and logistics solutions. Building on this strong foundation, the collaboration now continues under a new PearlCare Platinum agreement.
Through PearlCare, Pearl manages all operations and infrastructure while also advancing Motek’s applications and business development. The partnership also extends to new service solutions and development within AWS.
PearlCare Platinum provides Motek with cost predictability and secure execution of critical operational tasks. For a fixed monthly fee, Pearl delivers everything from bug fixes and ongoing patching to security updates and planned upgrades of both the S/4HANA and Commerce platforms. Continuous monitoring, proactive error correction, and scheduled updates ensure both stability and progress.
More than an operating partner with PearlCare
As a long-term technology partner, Pearl goes beyond day-to-day operations, actively contributing to Motek’s business development. The collaboration is built on a shared principle: Motek’s success is Pearl’s success.
Open dialogue and the exchange of strategic insights ensure that Motek is always equipped to meet a changing market. The ability to respond quickly to new challenges and opportunities, grounded in trust and close cooperation, is essential in the competitive construction industry.
– Over many years, Pearl has proven to be a partner we can rely on. We’ve had virtually no downtime in 11 years, which is critical for us since our business depends on satisfied customers. If something unforeseen happens, Pearl takes it seriously and stands by us until everything is resolved, says Motek’s IT Manager, Ketil Greve Aubert.
He continues: – Today, we rely on Pearl as a sparring partner and developer for all SAP projects, as well as new areas such as AWS. Motek has many exciting plans ahead, and we’ve chosen to continue with Pearl. Never change a winning team.
– PearlCare is built on three pillars: trust, collaboration, and relevance. Motek is a great example of how we can work closely from strategic discussions at top management level to handling critical infrastructure — all within one agreement. Simple for the customer, predictable for Pearl, adds Bernhard Olsen, Managing Director PearlCare.
Together, Motek and Pearl are building a robust platform for innovation and growth, ensuring Motek is ready to meet tomorrow’s challenges in the construction industry.
Over many years, Pearl has shown that they are a partner we can trust to deliver solutions that work.
