Pearl have developed an electronical trading format (EHF) for companies using of SAP's ERP solutions. This makes it very easy to do electronical invoicing and is used by a large number of our customers.
EHF solution is for companies that use SAP ECC or SAP Cloud ERP as their ERP solution. The solution follows the rules and regulations in Europe for EHF, and as long as you have the VAT number for your customers, this is the only information that is used to make the electronic transfer of messages and documents.
EHF is a standardized XML-data format for electronic document exchange developed on behalf of the Norwegian Government. EHF stands for “Elektronisk Handels Format” and aims to standardize communication between registered companies according to strictly defined formats allowing streamlined, effective and accurate business transactions that do not require human intervention.
PEPPOL started an international project to make it easier for companies to trade on equal terms across borders in Europe, all is done without integrations to the data systems. The EHF format is a standard that is used for invoices and started out as a cooperation with European and international organizations for standardization.
