Sunkost

Sunkost is Norway's oldest health food chain with 30 years of experience and a vision to make it easier and more tempting to live healthy. They are a nationwide chain with over 100 stores and a modern digital commerce that links the physical stores and the customer club together in an overall omnichannel strategy.

In collaboration with Sunkost, we have designed and developed their new digital store where we use Magento Open Source as an eCommerce solution in combination with Pimcore CMS so that they can work more independently and creatively with content that both increases traffic and triggers purchases.

In this project, we have, among other things, developed solutions to strengthen the interaction between the digital channel and physical commerce with good strategies for Click & Collect. We have also collaborated with our partner Oculos to integrate the Voyado platform with Magento so that both the end customer and Sunkost get more benefits in relation to customer club strategy and marketing automation across channels instead of just physical or digital silos.

We use Flow as a digital service platform and basis for all integrations, including with systems such as Pimcore PIM and the company's POS solution.

Then, as always, we have a best-of-breed approach to other services in the project, such as Nosto for product recommendations and personalization, as well as Algolia for internal searches.

Sunkost chose Pearl Commerce based on their experience with omnichannel, a number of good references, and more creative solution proposals than the competitors. The professional expertise and commitment of each individual in the project has contributed to a successful delivery, and provided security and predictability in the implementation and launch. The switch from the old platform to Magento went painlessly and according to plan and budget. Sunkost are very satisfied with the choice of Pearl Commerce as a supplier, and not least with the results after launch. Pearl Commerce is seen as a flexible partner, and has created an online store that has resulted in growth in revenue from organic traffic and an increase in conversion frequency from all channels. The combination of Magento and Pimcore as CMS and PIM means that we work effectively with SEO, content, enriching products, as well as launching and optimizing campaigns.
