After work: Meet Anders Rämsvik

 

Position, country/branch:

I work at Pearl Sweden in Gothenburg within the project management group. For the last few years, I’ve been working as a Business Analyst in different departments. Currently, I’m engaged at a company within the automobile industry located in Gothenburg, mainly working within Purchase-to-pay. However, my background has been development and integration for almost 20 years.

Where do you come from, and where do you live now?

I’m born and raised in Henan, Orust. Now I live in Ljungskile, around 4 miles north of Gothenborg.

My workday:

A typical day at work for me involves meetings to coordinate new initiatives and requirements within Purchase-to-pay. New markets might want to implement new automatic Purchase orders that require updated rules to function and need support in developing business processes, new integrations, and so on. The days go by fast.

My moments of everyday happiness:

Being surrounded by family, my three children, and my wife. When we all have dinner together and someone shares something fun that has happened. But it can also be when I see the golf wall flies towards the red flag after a nice shot.

Best SAP technology:

When everything is connected, or when it isn’t, it is possible to gather all ready-made function models and classes. SAP is loaded with APIs that can be used everywhere. 

 

 

Qualities I value in other people:

When they are positive, happy, and willing to collaborate to get ahead.

After work:

I enjoy sports, so I strive to play floorball regularly and golf a few times a week. People around me would probably say I do it more often. I also enjoy cooking and baking. I’m trying to build more stuff, but I wouldn’t say it happens frequently. During Covid, I managed to build a pizza oven after six bags of cement, eight of refractory mortar, one bag of vermiculite, refractory stones, and a “Biscotti de Sorrento” (to get the right temperature for the pizza base). So now we happily invite people over for pizza!
