This expansion naturally results in an increased number of projects and demand for additional expertise. With our new Business Unit Director, Pearl is at the forefront of HR Technology. Our latest venture in Finland is also demonstrating strong growth.
We are delighted to introduce seven new employees who have opted to join Pearl Group, spanning across Finland, Sweden, and Norway.
Dan Persson, Stockholm, PMO
As a new project manager at Pearl Sweden, Dan Persson is immediately thrown into the thick of things with a major client and will lead an S/4 greenfield implementation.
Dan's background as a Project Manager for SAP Ariba implementation and
Solution Architect for SAP Retail third-party integrations has given him a versatile
understanding of SAP systems and complex business management.
– Having the opportunity to work with so many skilled SAP experts was crucial in
my decision to work at Pearl. I've already had an amazing first week with a trip to
Tallinn and a kick-off with the client project, says Dan.
On a personal note, Dan is an active family man, padel player, floorball coach,
and scout leader.
Gurpreet Singh Saini, Stockholm, Logistics
Gurpreet joins as a new senior SAP Consultant in Pearl Sweden, bringing solid
experience with SAP Order Management, Finance Invoicing, Warehousing, and
Sourcing from companies such as Ericsson, H&M, SAPHive, and IBM.
In the role of senior SAP consultant, Gurpreet will mainly handle the logistics
field.
– I chose Pearl Group for the excellent learning opportunity it signifies – in a
company with an outstanding reputation. I look forward to tackling exciting and
challenging projects, says Gurpreet, an avid badminton player and hobby chef, in
his free time.
Martin Jousef, Stockholm, SuccessFactors
Martin is the new Business Unit Director at Pearl Group Sweden, working to
develop Pearl's efforts in the HR area. He brings considerable experience in
Retail, Automotive, Telecom, and IT.
Martin is a 'handy' and creative person who enjoys building things from scratch,
enjoys motorcycle rides, and has a sweet tooth above average.
– I wanted to work for Pearl because I recognize a perfect match between the
company's objectives and the potential I see for the HR business area as a 'one-
stop-shop' for the company's clients, says Martin.
Amit Sharma, Stockholm, SuccessFactors
With Amit on the team, Pearl gains a highly experienced senior consultant and solution advisor within SAP SuccessFactors. He has 17 years of experience in the SAP consulting role, and for the past ten years, he has worked with SAP SuccessFactors. He looks forward to continuing this work in Pearl’s new focus within the HR domain.
Amit enjoys reading academic literature and walking his cat in his free time but is
also interested in space exploration, physical training, and self-awareness.
– I had heard great things about Pearl from people working here, and as soon as I
heard that Pearl would start with HR solutions within SAP, I immediately sent an
application, says Amit.
Ismo Savolainen, Helsinki, Logistics
Ismo steps into the role of SAP Senior Consultant at Pearl Finland. With nearly
eight years of experience as a project manager and specialist in SAP, including
time at Corex Holdings, he will primarily work with the SAP Material Management
(MM) module at Pearl.
In his free time, Ismo is a guitar-playing food enthusiast who enjoys staying
active with walks and cycling trips and gaming and audiobooks at home.
– After focusing my career so far on the business side, I now wish to develop
more on the technical side of SAP and have the opportunity to work as a
consultant. I am glad that Pearl gave me this chance, says Ismo.
Jenni Suonpää, Tampere, Logistics
Jenni joins us as a senior SAP Consultant at Pearl Finland after accumulating solid
and varied experience at Metsä in roles ranging from Supply Planner to Process
Leader. She has concentrated on Information and Communication Technology
(ICT) as a Solution Designer for the last three years. At Pearl, Jenni will work with
logistics and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
With two volleyball-playing teenagers in the house, much of Jenni's time goes to
cheering from the sidelines. Still, her two dogs, a Norwegian Elkhound and a
Croatian Shepherd, also demand much of her time.
– After several years at Metsä, I decided to explore the new opportunities the
position at Pearl would open. I'm looking forward to embarking on new and
exciting tasks, says Jenni.
Gerd Oddrun Prestegård, Oslo, PSD
Gerd is joining us as a new senior SAP Consultant and Solution Architect at Pearl
Norway. She brings over 20 years of experience with SAP SD from projects in no
less than seven European countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Austria,
Poland, and Spain. Gerd comes from the solution architect role within SAP SD at
Orkla IT.
Gerd enjoys mountain hiking, reading books, and gardening in her free time.
– I'm looking forward to working on the PSD team at Pearl, getting to know new
colleagues, and working on new solutions for Pearl's customers, says Gerd.
