Pearl Group launches major Analytics and AI initiative

IMG_6891-min

We are now establishing Analytics and AI as a new investment area in Pearl Group. With a newly appointed head of the field, the goal is to expand AI and analytics initiatives across all markets.

– We are now building capabilities that leverage data-driven insights to improve business processes and decision-making and drive innovation for new and existing customers, says Johan Karlsson, newly appointed Head of Analytics & AI at Pearl Group.

In addition to world-class deliveries on SAP and e-commerce platforms, Pearl is simultaneously strengthening its value-adding services on other modern data and cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, AWS, Snowflake, and Power BI, which are in high demand in today's market.

To further enhance the company's overall analytics and AI expertise, Pearl Group has acquired part of the Baltic company Infotrust, a key player in the analytics environment in the Baltic countries. Infotrust has a long track record of end-to-end deliveries in complex banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail, and logistics industries.

Bringing Infotrust into Pearl Group also brings solid experience in ESG and sustainability reporting. Pearl is experiencing increasing demand from customers who must comply with the EU's latest rules and regulations in this area.

Tailoring AI and Analytics Solutions for New and Existing Customers in All Pearl Countries

Johan explains that Pearl Group's cross-functional teams will develop analytics and AI solutions tailored to customers.

– By understanding customers' specific challenges and critical business problems, we aim to increase the use of data-driven methods that will maximize their business value, says Karlsson, elaborating:

– Through long-term partnerships, we will help customers accelerate their data journey. We connect platforms and technologies with critical business processes and have a human-centred approach using modern, multi-purpose data platforms.

Pearl Group's diverse teams of data engineers, BI specialists, data scientists, business translators, and data architects are set to take a proactive role in any unique customer project. They aim to help the customer take the next step in their data journey and bridge the gap between technological and business resources internally.

– We are already working with many business-critical systems today, putting us in a very good position to strengthen and accelerate our customers' data journeys, Karlsson adds.

What is the Value of AI & Analytics for You as a Customer?

AI and analytics have the potential to deliver great value to customers. By analyzing large amounts of data, Pearl Group can identify trends, patterns, and risks. By automating critical processes that reduce the need for manual work, organizations can optimize their operations, cut costs, increase revenue streams, and utilize resources efficiently.

– Retailers, for example, can increase sales by improving customer communication and marketing strategies using machine learning algorithms that can identify patterns and predict behaviour. This enables targeted, personalized marketing campaigns and recommendation engines, says Johan.

– For example, AI-driven chatbots using natural language processing can help communicate with customers in real-time, provide product information, and handle order processing.
The manufacturing industry can also achieve significant cost savings through predictive maintenance, optimization of warehouse utilization, and real-time logistics management using streaming data.

 – Such data-driven value drivers naturally depend on the customer's various business goals, strategy, technological infrastructure, operating model, and organizational culture – but also on the specific industry and market trends in general, Johan explains.

– But we look at the data value chain as a holistic process for each customer. We identify and evaluate ways to accelerate the journey from data collection to generating actionable insights and informed decisions that create positive business outcomes, he concludes.

Pearl Group now looks forward to helping customers worldwide succeed in their data-driven transformation journeys.
